Tim, I think you've said it all. Last election the Alberta Party got 42 votes. This time, with only 38 candidates, we got 17,171. Someone figure out that percentage increase and compare it to what the other progressive parties lost.

You, Glenn, MIchael, Sue, Danielle and others were inspirational to all the rest of us who ran with lesser aplomb. I know that when you share what you learned about campaigning, we will all be able to make an even bigger difference next time.

Tim,

I was impressed with your campaign. Well done!

Fear tactics prevented people from thinking that you were a viable choice this time around. Anything to avoid the WRP! So even some voters squarely in your sweet spot voted for the PCs - some who haven't voted for the PCs in years. It was a tough time to make a mark in a relatively new party. Hope you run again. I'll vote for you and your party's platform again.

Over the last 4 weeks only one candidate has bothered to knock on my door and talk to me. This is inspite of the fact that I have openly invited all candidates to do so. I even offered to put the coffee on and sit down with them to listen what they have to say. Tim Osborne wrang my doorbell and took the time to listen to me. He took the time to explain what his party's platform is all about. Had the candidate whom I really wanted to vote for originally taken the time to do the same, today I would have cast my vote for him. Instead, I voted for Tim. The shame is I know alot of people who felt the same way.
