Well, it is now a few days after the election and I wanted to put down some of my thoughts in writing. The last year and a half have been an incredible experience for me. It has been an absolute pleasure getting involved in the political process and helping to build a new political option for our province is something that I will always be very proud of.

So here we are. Over the next few hours, Albertans will cast their votes and decide on the future that they want for our province. It has been a tremendous honour for me to be part of this process.

Please take a minute to read some of my final thoughts as the voters of Alberta get ready to head to the polls on Monday.

April 15-21 is National Volunteer Week. It’s a time to recognize the hard work of all of the volunteers who work tirelessly to make our communities better. Whether it’s coaching a sports team, packing hampers at the Food Bank or leading a Girl Guide troop, volunteers are the backbone of a strong community.
