If, like myself, you’re someone who enjoys visiting Lois Hole Provincial Park and the BLESS Viewing Platform, you’ll know that this is often a problem in the Spring when the snow melts and the path under the bridge floods. Well, good news: a walkway is being installed that should allow access throughout the Spring.
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Sustainable Communities Conference in Charlottetown, PEI. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with municipal leaders from across the country who share an interest in sustainability and environmental issues.
A little over a week ago, I received a call from Walter Schwabe of fusedlogic.com asking me if I’d be interested in writing a blog for his Capital Region Rocks project. In short, Walter has asked residents of this fine region to share their stories about what makes this part of the world so great. Of course I agreed, and this blog post represents my first contribution.
